Manchester City defender Matthew Mills will spend a second month on loan at Colchester United.
Mills has made five appearances for the Championship club since linking up with Geraint Williams' side in January.
His original month-long deal was due to expire after Saturday's game with Burnley, but he will now stay at Layer Road until the end of March.
During his time with Colchester, The U's have kept two clean sheets to cement a place in the top half of the table.
Mills has made just two senior appearances for City in the Premiership since joining from Southampton over 12 months ago.
