Despite the reported interest from Premiership side Manchester City, Lens goalkeeper Charles Itandje insists he wants to stay in France.
The Frenchman has helped Lens to a top-six position in Lique 1 and says he will see out his current contract at the Stade Bollaert.
Itandje's current deal with Lens does not expire until 2008 but after admitting his love for the English game, he may reconsider his options then.
"I am a Lens player until 2008 and I will stay," he confirmed.
"I don't want any misunderstanding about my situation, because it is not good for the club."
