NOTTS COUNTY have taken Manchester City defender Patrick McCarthy on loan until the end of the season.
Magpies boss Billy Dearden is keen to bolster his defence and he has landed McCarthy to shore up his leaky rearguard.
McCarthy is highly-rated at Maine Road, but he is still to make the breakthrough into the first team
The 19-year-old had been on loan at Boston for the last four months and City boss Kevin Keegan is keen for him to gain valuable first team football.
