UDINESE are looking to three players as they build for the coming season.

The World Cup has provided several teams with targets over the summer months, and all three of the stars Udinese are watching played for their nations in Japan & Korea.

First and foremost is Manchester City's Paulo Wanchope, who scored for Costa Rica against Brazil.

The mercurial forward has seen the competition for places at City increase dramatically over the summer, although manager Kevin Keegan has insisted he wants to keep his present strikers.

Should a move for Wanchope flounder then Turkish marksman Ilhan Mansiz is another option.

Mansiz was an emerging star for Turkey this summer, and scored twice in the 3rd/4th place play off victory over South Korea.

Currently plying his trade for Besiktas in his native Turkey, Mansiz will be aware that he could cash in on an impressive tournament and may now desire a move.

It would seem his talents have alerted a clutch of Serie A teams, with Chievo also keen on the forward having lost Bernardo Corradi to Internazionale.

The final target for Udinese is Senegal's Henri Camara.

It was Camara who scored the golden goal that gave Senegal victory over Sweden, and his direct running and pace have made him an attractive proposition.
