Tim Krul has been forced to pull out of the Holland squad for Tuesday's game against Hungary due to an elbow injury.
Krul got the chance to start for his country in their home clash with Turkey on Friday and kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory.
However, he will not be available for Holland's next World Cup qualifier in Budapest and will now return to Newcastle United ahead of their trip to Everton on 17th September.
Under 21 international Jeroen Zoet, who is on loan at RKC Waalwijk from PSV Eindhoven, has been called up as cover by Louis van Gaal.
The Holland boss must now decide whether to restore Maarten Stekelenburg to the starting XI against Hungary or select Swansea City's Michel Vorm.
FC Twente midfielder Leroy Fer has already had to withdraw from the squad because of a knee injury, with Adam Maher summoned to replace him.
