Swansea have confirmed personal terms have been agreed with Wayne Routledge ahead of his move from Newcastle.

Former Crystal Palace starlet set for move

Swansea have confirmed they have agreed personal terms with Wayne Routledge ahead of his proposed transfer from Newcastle. The two clubs have agreed an undisclosed transfer fee for the winger who is expected in Swansea on Tuesday to have a medical and sign a three-year deal. Leroy Lita is also expected to wrap up his transfer from Middlesbrough within the next 24 hours and both players could make their debuts on Wednesday against Celtic. Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers is said to be delighted with the news about Routledge, whose progress he has tracked for some. Routledge, 26, played an integral part in QPR's Championship promotion winning side last term while on loan from Newcastle. Neil Warnock had been keen to sign him on a permanent basis but the two parties were unable to thrash out a deal.
