Brighton have signed Newcastle winger Kazenga LuaLua on a six-month loan deal.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week, Brighton had lined up a loan deal with a view to a permanent move for the 20-year-old.
LuaLua has enjoyed two previous loan spells with the Seagulls, and made 11 appearances for them last season before suffering a broken leg in November.
Brighton boss Gus Poyet admitted LuaLua was one of his top summer transfer targets.
"Kazenga was one of our main summer targets and I am delighted we have finally come to an agreement with Newcastle United. I am sure the fans will be equally delighted to see him back at the club," Poyet told the club's official website.
"He will join us for our week away, which will be vital, and I am sure those travelling to support will be delighted to see him in a Brighton shirt once again."
