Newcastle have been linked with a move for AIK Solna's forward duo Teteh and Mohamed Bangura.

Sierra Leone duo causing interest across Europe

Newcastle have been linked with a move for AIK Solna's forward duo Teteh and Mohamed Bangura. Both players hail from Sierra Leone and have struck up a strong friendship that saw Teteh join up with Mohamed at Swedish side AIK, where the pair currently play. Reports in Scandinavia claim that the Premier League side have run the rule over both men. And 21-year-old Teteh admitted that the Magpies had been following his progress in the Swedish league. "I know Newcastle have seen all my matches and follow me," he said.

Double interest

Mohamed Bangura, also 21, is also on the club's radar according to AIK sporting director Jens Andersson. "The interest hasn't faded, it's no lower than a few months before." he told Fotbolldirekt.se "I think that he has just become better and better. The big difference is that he so far hasn't scored many goals, but they will come and I think that the clubs that follow him know that. "Foreign clubs see him in each game and they know what class he has. And there are more now than earlier this spring that follow Mohamed."
