Joe Kinnear has brushed off suggestions French midfielder Charles N'Zogbia could quit Newcastle.

The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Ligue 1 giants Paris St Germain, amid talk Arsenal may also be monitoring his situation.

It had also been suggested Kinnear would be willing to sell the player in order to bolster his own coffers ahead of the January transfer window.

However, Kinnear - who has handed his own list of transfer targets to executive director (football) Dennis Wise - insists none of his first-team players will be leaving despite his acknowledgement that he will have to sell before he can buy.

The interim boss said: "Charles N'Zogbia is not going anywhere.

"He is still part of my plans and he still has a future at this football club, and talk of me granting him a transfer is not only incorrect, it is absolute rubbish.

"My aim whatever time I have here is to build up our squad and not to get rid our any of our first-team players."
