Toulouse midfielder Achille Emana is hopeful that a deal can be pushed through for him to join Real Betis.
The Cameroon international has attracted interest from several clubs, including Newcastle, and he admits he is keen to move on from Toulouse.
The French club have already turned down two bids for Emana but the 26-year-old believes they would accept an offer of around €8million (£6.3million).
"I need a new challenge to boost my career," Emana told skysports.com.
"I know there are many contacts. The most interesting recent one was Newcastle United.
"My club want more money (from Betis), around €8million.
"If the two clubs can agree a price I will be happy. My career has to move forward and Betis are a very good club."
Emana is reported to have agreed a four-year contract with Real Betis.
