Lomana Tresor LuaLua wants to return to Newcastle United as he feels he has 'unfinished business'.
The DR Congo striker spent almost four years at St James' Park after being brought to the club by Sir Bobby Robson in 2000.
He joined Portsmouth in 2004 before quitting the Premier League last summer to link up with Greek side Olympiakos.
But the 27-year-old is keen on a return to English football and would relish the opportunity to play for the Magpies again.
Lua Lua enjoyed his first stint on Tyneside and believes Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan can help him to flourish.
"I would love to go back to Newcastle," said LuaLua in the Daily Mirror.
"I feel I have unfinished business there.
"Kevin Keegan loves to play attacking football and would get the best out of me.
"My younger brother Kazenga is there and I had a great time when I was there before."
