Newcastle defender David Rozehnal is confident of being fit to face West Ham on Sunday.
The Czech Republic international landed awkwardly during the second half of Newcastle's 1-0 defeat to Derby.
He is still in some discomfort but is hoping to feature against The Hammers this weekend.
"My leg was really painful after the game," Rozehnal told the club's official website.
"I went in the air for a header and then came down heavily and got a kick.
"But it was me who did it to myself and it came at a bad time during the game.
"But I hope I will be okay in time for West Ham."
