Rozehnal backing for Taylor

David Rozehnal has backed Newcastle team-mate Steven Taylor to become an England regular.

Czech happy with team-mate

David Rozehnal has backed Newcastle team-mate Steven Taylor to become an England regular. The Czech Republic stopper has linked up well with his new partner in central defence at St James' and he thinks the 21-year-old has a big future ahead of him.

Tip for top

"Steven Taylor could rise to become a member of England's senior team," Rozehnal told Premierleague.cz. "Why not? He is young and, considering his age, very good. He could gain plenty of experience in the senior team. "I think he can improve a lot and become a world-class player. I was not as good as him at his age. As he is this young, he will certainly get much better in the future. "I feel that we co-operate better and better with every game. I feel that I get on very well with all my team-mates. We communicate during the play which is very good and important for the whole team."
