Shay Given and Peter Ramage have hailed the impact Kieron Dyer has had at Newcastle United since returning from injury.
Dyer ended seven months of injury torment when returning against Portsmouth in the Carling Cup.
He has since impressed against Manchester City, Arsenal and Pompey in The Premiership and The Magpies are unbeaten in the four games Dyer has played.
The dashing midfielder has lifted the gloom on Tyneside and keeper Given and defender Ramage have been hugely impressed with his efforts.
"He has been a huge bonus," Given told Sky Sports News. "He has given everyone a real lift.
"We have missed him and with him having been out for such a long time, it is like a new signing for us.
"We are very happy to have him back."
Ramage added: "He makes a huge difference, his pace and also his presence in the team gives everyone a real lift and it is a massive boost to see him running at defenders and wreaking havoc."
