Marlon Harewood insists he knows nothing of reports linking him with a move to Newcastle United.
The West Ham striker has emerged as possible target for The Magpies, after they failed to prise his team-mate Dean Ashton from Upton Park.
Harewood was linked in a possible deal with James Milner going in the opposite direction, but the 26-year-old - who bagged 14 league goals on his return to The Premiership last season - insists he is just concentrating on The Hammers.
When asked about Newcastle he said: "People have been saying that [Newcastle are interested].
"I have not heard anything," he told Sky Sports News.
"I just worry about being a West Ham player at this moment in time and that is what I am doing."
Harewood says he is not worried about the arrival of Carlton Cole form Chelsea and insists he is ready to battle with him and anyone else this season.
"When Dean [Ashton] came in it was the same, he was battling for a place with me, Teddy [Sheringham], and Bobby [Zamora] and Carlton will have the same problem coming to the club."
