Hull City manager Phil Parkinson has handed trials to Martin Brittain and Lloyd Dyer as he bids to strengthen his squad ahead of the coming season.
Dyer has endured a difficult last few months, having left Millwall during the middle of the season before linking up with Derby for the latter stages of the campaign.
The 23-year-old is hoping to kick-start his career with Hull and was involved during The Tigers' 3-1 win over Winterton Rangers.
Newcastle midfielder Brittain also played in Tuesday's match but Parkinson is as yet unsure whether he will pursue his interest in either player.
"We gave the two lads a chance to show what they could do and they also enabled us to field two sides of 11," he said in the Hull Daily Mail.
