Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi insists that Igor Tudor will not be leaving the club this winter.

The Croat had been widely tipped to leave the Turin giants, but the decision to offload Mark Iuliano to Mallorca and Nicola Legrottaglie on loan to Bologna, has ended his chances of departure.

"If we let Tudor go then we would be left with a dangerously small number of central defenders," said Moggi.

"So Tudor will stay at Juve and, for us, the transfer window is already closed."

Tudor has found himself out of favour at the club since the arrival of Fabio Capello as coach.

The versatile Croatia international has been linked with a plethora of British sides, including Newcastle, Rangers and West Brom.
