Striker Michael Chopra has signed for another month at Barnsley.The 21-year-old will stay at Oakwell until after their tie against Blackpool on November 27.
The England Under-21 star has been on loan from Premiership giants Newcastle United since August 28.
In his 13 first-team appearances for Barnsley he has hit the back of the net three times.
Chopra made his debut for the Reds against Hull City on August 28 and wasted no time in bagging his first goal just a week later at Hartlepool United.
But with two goals in his last two games, Chopra has hit form of late.
His equaliser against Swindon Town helped him earn the man-of-the-match and the deal to keep him in South Yorkshire for one more month.
