New Bradford City boss Colin Todd has revealed his interest in signing former Newcastle United midfielder Bradley Orr.

The former Bolton Wanderers and Derby County manager, who took over the Coca-Cola League One club from the departed Bryan Robson, is looking to bring in some fresh faces before the start of pre-season next month.

Todd stated that Orr is one of a number of players that he is considering, as he tries to assemble his squad following relegation with the cash-strapped Valley Parade club.

"I have seen the reports in the Sunday papers linking us with Bradley Orr, but he is just one of many players I am considering approaching - with a view to coming here," Todd told the club's official website.

The 23-year-old, who was linked with a move to Rotherham United back in March, spent two months on loan last season with Burnley.

The news comes as West Yorkshire rivals Leeds United are closing in on the signature of Bantams striker Danny Cadamarteri.
