Stuart Pearce has refused to divulge the identity of those players he has lined up as loan targets for Nottingham Forest.

The City Ground boss is known to be in the market for short-term additions, with injuries robbing him of the services of Jack Hobbs, Andy Reid and Chris Cohen.

We are always looking for good players to come in, we have made various phone calls this week and last week, about players who might come in and give us a lift.

Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish has been mentioned as one possibility, with the 19-year-old having previously spent time on Trentside at Notts County.

He has recently committed to a new four-year contract at Villa, but regular game time in the Sky Bet Championship would undoubtedly help his cause.

Pearce, though, is continuing to play his cards close to his chest when it comes to those he is looking to bring into his Forest squad.

He said in the Nottingham Post when quizzed about Grealish: "We are always looking for good players to come in, we have made various phone calls this week and last week, about players who might come in and give us a lift.

"We will continue to do that. If the right player is available and we can get the nod from their club, we will bring them in. But at this moment, the calls have not come off.

"Can we bring somebody in before Tuesday (and a trip to Watford)? I would not rule anything out."
