Paul Lambert's first game as Aston Villa boss will be away at West Ham on 18 August.
Villa's Premier League season begins in East London, and Everton are the first visitors to the Midlands a week later.
Lambert comes up against old club Norwich on 27 October, while November brings a daunting run of games against Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal - last season's top three.
Villa are at home to Tottenham on Boxing Day and kick off 2013 with a trip to Swansea.
And the season ends with a home game against Chelsea followed, on 19 May, by a visit to Wigan.
