Portuguese international Yannick Djalo claims that he has agreed a deal to join Aston Villa in January.
The 25-year-old forward has barely played this season as a move to Nice on transfer deadline from Sporting Lisbon was not ratified by Fifa as they said it was completed in time.
Sporting refused to take him back blaming Nice for the problems, and he has since been in dispute.
Now after talks between Nice and the player, he looks set to be released from the French club without even playing and he will be able to move when the transfer window opens in January.
Djalo has now stated on his official Facebook page that he is heading to Aston Villa.
Djalo has long been linked with a move to England in recent seasons and it now appears he is set to get his wish with Villa.
