Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier has confirmed the club have agreed a deal for Kyle Walker.
The 20-year-old full-back has just returned to Tottenham following a highly successful loan spell with Championship leaders Queens Park Rangers.
QPR wanted him to stay at Loftus Road, but he is now on his way to Villa Park - a move first revealed by skysports.com.
Walker will spend the rest of the season on loan at Villa, as Houllier looks to bolster his squad after seeing his side drop into the relegation zone following their 1-0 defeat to Sunderland.
Houllier confirmed that the club had signed Walker on loan until the end of the season at a press conference following Villa's latest defeat.
"We were looking for full-backs and Kyle Walker is [arriving] on loan from Tottenham, I can confirm that," Houllier told reporters.
