Lincoln are hoping to keep on-loan Aston Villa defenders Nathan Baker and Eric Lichaj beyond the new year.
The pair have impressed since joining Chris Sutton's side in October but their spells at Sincil Bank end on 2nd January.
Imps vice chairman Bob Dorrian told the Lincolnshire Echo: "We'd like to keep them for longer because they've been excellent since they joined us.
"But we're not sure whether it's going to be possible as they're both very highly rated by Villa.
"At the moment I'd say it is 50/50 whether we keep them for longer."
