Lincoln City boss Chris Sutton has signed a third player on loan from Aston Villa after bringing Chris Herd to Sincil Bank.
Sutton already has Villa youngsters Eric Lichaj and Nathan Baker in his squad and has now captured Australian midfielder Herd.
The 20-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance for Villa, but has had previous loan spells at Port Vale and Wycombe Wanderers.
Herd could make his debut on Saturday against Northwich Victoria after being given permission by Villa to play in the FA Cup second-round tie.
His loan deal will run until 2nd January, with his Villa colleagues Lichaj and Baker also due to stay with the League Two club until that date.
