Cardiff City have snapped up Aston Villa goalkeeper Stuart Taylor on a one-month loan deal.
Taylor has moved to Ninian Park to ease a crisis between the posts for the Championship promotion hopefuls.
On-loan keeper Dimi Konstantopoulos has joined Tom Heaton and Peter Enckelman on the sidelines, forcing manager Dave Jones to bring in further cover.
Jones has secured a deal for Taylor, who will go straight into the Cardiff team for Sunday's game at play-off rivals Bristol City.
Since joining Villa from Arsenal in 2005, Taylor has struggled to make an impact and has made just 17 appearances for the club.
The 28-year-old appeared twice in the Intertoto Cup at the start of this season, but is behind United States duo Brad Friedel and Brad Guzan in Martin O'Neill's plans.
