Walsall's squad has been bolstered with the addition of Aston Villa youngster Sam Williams on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old came through Villa's ranks as a defensive midfielder, but has operated up front more recently.
Williams, who has undertaken previous loan spells with Wrexham, Brighton and Colchester, could make his debut against Leeds.
In a busy day for the League One outfit they have also extended Chris Palmer's contract until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has made 29 appearances to date and will stay at the Banks's Stadium until the summer.
Meanwhile, winger Marco Reich, who won one cap for Germany, has left the club.
The 31-year-old signed a six-month deal in the summer but has left after making 21 appearances.
