Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has revealed he has rejected overtures from two clubs in Germany.
Sorensen's future at Villa is uncertain as he has dropped down the pecking order at Villa Park.
Loan signing Scott Carson has firmly established himself as No. 1 in the fight for the goalkeeping spot with Sorensen yet to start a game this season.
The Denmark international, who has previously admitted he might have to consider his options at Villa, claims he turned down the interest from the mystery Bundesliga clubs as he has no interest in moving to Germany.
"It's correct that I have rejected a couple of German clubs who have been interested," Sorensen told BT.
"I have done that because Germany is not heading my personal agenda.
"I don't believe the mentality in German football suits me."
