Curtis Davies admits he is 'frustrated' by his lack of chances for Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The defender joined Villa on a season-long loan from West Brom, with a view to completing a permanent move at the end of the season.
But Davies has made just one substitute appearance in the league and acknowledged he is unused to the situation.
"It has been frustrating - I'm not going to lie," said Davies in The Independent.
"I've come here and I've been on the bench all of the time, so it is frustrating and a weird time for me."
Meanwhile, Villa boss Martin O'Neill is confident that winger Ashley Young will cope with being 'a marked man'.
O'Neill said: "Ashley is a brave man, as anyone who has seen us play will see because he's a marked man now.
"He was very tightly marked against Derby, but he is going to get that and he will come to terms with it."
