Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has come under fire for his non-selection of Danish keeper Thomas Sorensen.
Sorensen was once an automatic choice but has dropped down the pecking order at Villa Park this term.
This has led to Denmark coach Morten Olsen criticising O'Neill, adding that Sorensen risks losing his place in the Danish national team if his club situation does not improve.
Speaking about the Sorensen being dropped, Olsen blasted to Ekstra Bladet: "The manager of the club has decided that, but I don't understand it at all.
"Thomas is not even on the bench and he is surely too good to be a backup.
"In the long term, it will naturally be a problem for us and I have also told Thomas that.
"But I don't think Thomas' situation is a problem for the upcoming matches."
