Aston Villa are thought to be keeping tabs on Queens Park Rangers star Lee Cook.
Cook has impressed for Rangers this season and his performances have attracted the interest of a host of clubs.
Villa boss Martin O'Neill is drawing up a list of targets as he looks to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window and Cook is thought to be one of his options.
Loftus Road boss John Gregory is aware of interest in Cook and knows his side face a fight to keep hold of the winger.
"He has been outstanding and I know there are clubs having a look at him," said Gregory.
"We will always be under pressure if someone comes in with money."
