Stevenage have signed defender Tom Flanagan on loan from fellow League One outfit MK Dons until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old penned a one-year contract to stay at the Dons on Monday, but he has struggled to break into Karl Robinson's side this season, making only six appearances. And he has been sent to the Lamex Stadium to gain first-team football. Robinson told the club's official website: "With his contract sorted, this move gives Tom the opportunity to go out and earn some valuable match experience at League One level. "Next season will be a make or break one for him and if he goes into it with confidence, having played some games for Stevenage between now and May, then that will only benefit both parties."
