Leon Best is ready to reciprocate the love shown by Blackburn's supporters by looking to fire Michael Appleton's side to the FA Cup semi-finals.
The striker, who joined the Championship club from Newcastle in a £3m deal in the summer, is hoping to make his full Rovers debut in the last eight clash against Millwall on Sunday.
Best has spent the last seven months on the sidelines after damaging his cruciate ligament in pre-season, but he made his comeback as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat at Bolton on Tuesday.
And now the 26-year-old is targeting a starting role for the Lancashire side at the Den.
He told The Daily Star: "It has been a long time. It is a massive game to be coming back for and hopefully we are all up for it, can do the right things and get to Wembley.
"When I came on the other night, the fans were showing me a lot of love. The fact I haven't played for the club yet and they rate me enough to be cheering is a lift for me."
