Steve Kean admits Blackburn will have to win at least one of their tough away encounters at Tottenham and Chelsea if they want to avoid the drop.
Rovers, who travel to White Hart Lane on Sunday to face Spurs, have three matches left to play - a home game against relegation rivals Wigan next weekend is the other followed by the trip to Chelsea - and are in need of a minimum six points.
"We need to win two of the three games, so including one of those against Tottenham and Chelsea," said manager Kean.
Tough
"It's a tough schedule on paper but at this time of the season form goes out of the window. It's just about performing on the day.
"We have gone to Old Trafford, Anfield and Goodison Park and got results this season so we know we can do the same at Tottenham and Chelsea."
Tottenham have been having troubles of their own and now look likely to miss out on the UEFA Champions League qualification spot that at one point looked certain.
Kean has been working hard to see where Spurs have been slipping up and believes he has identified a couple of weak points his side can exploit.
"We have been looking at weaknesses in areas which the players we have available can cause them problems," added the Blackburn manager.
"We have done our work and have decided how we want to go about the game tactically and a couple of things we can exploit in certain areas of the pitch against Tottenham.
"We know the prize at the end of the season for us is massive. We have to try to keep the spark and enthusiasm we showed against a very good Norwich side last weekend."
Rovers' relegation rivals - Wigan, Bolton, Aston Villa and QPR - will all have played before Blackburn take to the field in north London, and Kean hopes that will play in to their hands.
Big weekend
He said: "It's a big weekend, and we will know the outcome of a lot of games before we play.
"Things could be sitting really good for us, it could be much the same or a little bit tougher.
"I will be at Wigan because we have got that game coming up next week and I want to have a look at them."
