Russians line up deal
Wantaway Blackburn star Christopher Samba looks set to get his wish with a move to Anzhi Makhachkala, according to sources in Russia.
The transfer window in Russia does not close until Friday, meaning their clubs can still make moves.
Now a number of Russian sources are claiming that big-spending Anzhi, who now have Guus Hiddink in charge, have agreed a £7.5million deal with Blackburn for the 27-year-old.
Reports are even suggesting that a three-year deal for the Congolese stopper has been agreed, and only a medical is needed for him to complete the move.
Samba, who has only played for Blackburn once in 2012, has demanded a move away from the club but Rovers have thus far stood firm, insisting he was not for sale.
The giant central defender, who was targeted by a number of Premier League clubs in January, joined Blackburn from Hertha Berlin in 2006.
