Defender looking to cause a shock against Manchester City

Adam Henley says he is determined to help Blackburn beat the drop, starting by completing a Manchester double this weekend. Rovers, who are outside the drop zone on goal difference, travel to the Etihad Stadium looking to cause a similar upset to their 3-2 win at Old Trafford on New Year's Eve. That victory was Blackburn's only away win this season, but the 17-year-old sees no reason why they cannot cause another upset. "Everyone wrote us off at Old Trafford," Henley told the club's official website. "Sometimes you like to be underdogs and if we go there with the right attitude we have every chance. As long as you go and put yourself about, you always have a chance. "I don't know if it would ever happen again (winning at Manchester City and Manchester United). But obviously it is something we want to achieve. "All I can do is do what I am asked to do. I would love to play some more games but it is down to the manager at the end of the day. "If he feels I am capable of doing it then I am very happy to of course. "You want to put yourself up against the best players and that is what you are in the game for. Hopefully I get a chance. "The team was together in the win at Old Trafford and the draw against Liverpool, similar to QPR the other weekend (when Rovers won 3-2). "When the whole team comes together, everyone does their bit and we put on a performance, we have shown we can beat the best of teams. "It is just that consistency we need. That is going to be so important to keep us up at the end of the season. "It was great to get the three points against QPR. It was so desperately needed and now we need to kick on and get more results like that. "It was massive. The Arsenal game brought us down to earth but the performance against QPR shows the spirit and shows we are not down and out. We want to fight until the end. "It was effort all around the pitch. Everyone wanted to give the best they had and all that came together against QPR. If we can bring that into the games for the rest of the season then I think we will have no problems. "It is consistency that is the key. More performances like that will stand us in good stead."
