Midfielder knows club's importance to the town

Blackburn midfielder Jason Lowe is optimistic about his side's Premier League survival chances after their 3-2 win over fellow strugglers QPR last Saturday. Lowe picked up his 10th booking of the season during the match and will miss the trip to Manchester City on February 25 and Aston Villa's visit to Ewood Park the following week. The 20-year-old expects his team-mates to continue their resurgence in his absence. "Blackburn Rovers is the main thing that happens in the town and we'll do everything we can to make sure we stay in this league," Lowe told the Lancashire Telegraph. "I'm confident we can do that, we just have to keep producing performances and take our chances, and try to get the clean sheets on the board. That's what's going to get us out of there."
