Doncaster striker Chris Brown will not be joining League Two side Crewe on loan, according to manager Dean Saunders.
The 26-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the League Two side as he battles back from a knee injury. But Saunders insists he will regain his fitness with Rovers. "He's trying to get himself right and play for us," he said. "We have not discussed it with him. We're just seeing how he looks in training. "We're disappointed he pulled out of the reserves on Tuesday, but he trained on Thursday. Hopefully, it's one of those injuries that swells up and goes down again."
