Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti has left Besiktas after cancelling his contract by mutual consent.
The Turkish club released a statement on their official website confirming the agreement to let the 35-year-old leave, having started just 21 Super Lig matches in two seasons in Istanbul.
Guti's contract was due to expire at the end of the season, but both parties have decided to go their separate ways.
Guti joined the Black Eagles in 2010 after 15 seasons as a professional with Real, where he won three Champions League crowns and five Primera Division titles.
The news could alert a number of English clubs to Guti's availability with Blackburn linked with the midfielder in the past.
