Scottish striker all set to complete switch to Bluebirds

Cardiff have struck a deal for Kenny Miller and are now waiting on international clearance. The Bluebirds have everything in place to bring the Scotland international back to Britain from Turkish outfit Bursaspor. It is believed that the Championship outfit are set to part with a £1million fee for the 31-year-old striker. Miller only moved to Turkey in January, after starting the 2010/11 campaign on the books of SPL giants Rangers, but struggled to settle in foreign climes. The Gers were keen to return him to Ibrox, but it is Cardiff who have ultimately emerged victorious in the race for his signature.

Medical passed

"We are just waiting on a bit of international documentation," Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay told his club's official website. "We've agreed the fee, we've agreed his terms and the medical has been passed. He's been training with us and he has gone up this weekend to collect some stuff and bring his family down." Cardiff are also poised to sign 22-year-old French striker Rudy Gestede, formerly of French side Metz. Mackay added: "We are doing the medical with him at the moment and he should sign on Monday."
