On-loan Blackburn midfielder verbally attacks former Schalke boss

Blackburn loanee Jermaine Jones has unleashed a scathing attack on former Schalke boss Felix Magath. Magath was sacked and replaced by Ralf Rangnick last month, but he has since returned to his old club Wolfsburg, whom he led to the Bundesliga title in 2009. The German is highly regarded in his homeland, but Jones, who joined Rovers on loan in January, has issued strong words against his former boss. The USA international, who was born in Germany, has now opened the door for a return to his parent club, but is adamant he will never play under Magath again. "I am not going to join a club with Felix Magath in charge, not for all the money in the world," Jones told German sports newspaper Bild. "I have no desire to see Felix Magath again in my life and I have erased his phone number from my mobile phone a long, long time ago. "The spell I had under him at Schalke was absolutely obnoxious." Jones is contracted to Schalke, who have had a difficult domestic season despite an impressive UEFA Champions League run, until June 2014.
