Hartlepool United have extended the loan deal of Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jake Kean by a further month.
Kean has impressed since joining the League One club in September and has kept nine clean sheets in 18 appearances.
His loan was due to expire next week, but the teenager will now stay at Victoria Park until the first week of February.
Pools boss Mick Wadsworth told the club's official website: "It's great that Jake will be staying with us a little longer.
"He's really enjoying himself here and I think Blackburn can see what a positive impact it is having on him being able to play regular first-team football
"I'd like to thank everyone at Blackburn for their help once again in ensuring that Jake is with the club for another month."
