Rovers goalkeeper heads to League One

Blackburn goalkeeper Jason Brown has joined Leyton Orient on a month's loan, skysports.com understands. The Rovers shot-stopper is eager to get more games under his belt and recently returned to Ewood Park following a spell with Leeds. The 28-year-old spent four games with the Elland Road outfit, during which they secured victories over Coventry and Middlesbrough, but lost to Ipswich and Leicester. Former England international Paul Robinson is Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce's undisputed No.1, leaving Brown's opportunities limited. The former Charlton and Gillingham shot-stopper has started just six league games for the North West club since his arrival in June 2006. And he now hopes his latest loan move to Brisbane Road will see him impress in League One for Russell Slade's side, with Saturday's home clash against Bournemouth first on the agenda.
