Blackburn Rovers youngster Alex Marrow has joined Crystal Palace on a six-month loan deal.
The midfielder is due to remain at Selhurst Park until 3rd January 2011, when his situation will be reviewed.
The 20-year-old has prior experience of life as a loan star, having spent the 2009/10 campaign with League One outfit Oldham Athletic.
He made 34 appearances during his time with the Latics and did not look out of place in the Football League ranks.
Debut
Upon returning to Ewood Park, Marrow was handed a senior run-out for Rovers in a pre-season friendly against Cambridge United.
Sam Allardyce feels he would benefit from another spell away from the club, though, as he cannot offer him the regular first-team football he needs to continue his development.
Palace will be hoping that he hits full bloom at Selhurst Park, helping them to push for promotion in the Championship.
Marrow was handed his Eagles debut in their 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town on Saturday, entering the fold as an 83rd-minute substitute.
