Northern Irish youngster enjoying pre-season tour

Manchester United youngster Corry Evans has revealed he is learning a lot from the more experienced players in the squad. The 19-year-old, younger brother of centre-half Jonny, is enjoying United's pre-season tour of the United Stars and has benefitted from the knowledge of the likes of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. Evans has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Red Devils but can play in either defence or midfield. The Northern Irish prospect hopes to build on the tour experience and enjoy a successful upcoming season. "It has been a great few months for me and I want it to keep going," he said. "I hope I can build on what I have achieved so far and have another successful season. "It is nice to have Jonny here as well, but I have been mingling with all the lads throughout. "I have already learnt so much from this experience. The way the likes of Scholesy and Giggsy handle themselves on and off the pitch is fantastic and a great example for us. "They are players you can learn a lot from and I have enjoyed every minute so far. "The tempo in training is always at the highest possible level and the lads always want to win. You see that out on the pitch as well and to be here is just a real privilege."
