Bradford City have decided against extending the loan deal of Huddersfield Town keeper Simon Eastwood.

McCall wants to sign a more experienced keeper

Bradford City have decided against extending the loan deal of Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Simon Eastwood. The 20-year-old had spent the first half of the season on loan at Valley Parade and made a total of 28 appearances for the Bantams. He had been keen to finish the season with the League Two club, but Bradford boss Stuart McCall has allowed Eastwood to return to Huddersfield. With Bradford struggling to mount a push for the play-offs, McCall confirmed he wants to add an experienced keeper to his squad. "We've got a young back four and I'm just trying to find someone with more experience," McCall told the Telegraph & Argus. "Easty has shown great character because he's had an up-and-down spell, but I'm sure it will stand him in good stead."
