Robbo calm over Capello snub

Blackburn's Paul Robinson is not overly concerned with winning a return to the England squad.

Shot-stopper not losing sleep about England exile

Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson claims he is not overly concerned with winning a return to the England set-up. The former Leeds and Tottenham shot-stopper has failed to feature in international boss Fabio Capello's last two squads, sparking speculation his days playing for his country could be numbered. But the 29-year-old insists he is not thinking about his England career as he focuses on his form with Premier League strugglers Blackburn. He told the Lancashire Telegraph when asked about his international exile: "Do you know what? I've not even thought about it really. "I am just concentrating on playing well here. Enjoying my football again has been the most important thing for me. I'm doing that. I'm really enjoying playing and training. "To be honest I've been an interested spectator with the England thing but I haven't really given it much thought on a personal level. If it happens, it happens. "But if I'm needed, I'm ready, yes."
