A deal has been reached to take Andre Ooijer to PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season, according to the Blackburn defender's agent.
The Dutchman spent nine years with PSV before moving to Ewood Park in 2006, but he now looks set to return to his homeland.
PSV technical chief Adrje van Kraaij announced last month that he was hopeful a transfer would go through, and agent Sigi Lens insists an agreement is already in place.
Ooijer's contract with Blackburn expires in the summer and the 34-year-old has made it clear he wishes to finish his career in the Eredivisie.
Lens told Sportweek magazine: "That transfer will go through. In fact all is done already.
"Andre has made his choice - he only wants to go to PSV. And the club is willing to fulfil our wishes.
"We only need to speak about some minor details and put pen to paper. I expect everything will be done in May."
