Blackburn boss Paul Ince takes his side to Villa Park on Wednesday where they will face former Rovers goalkeeper Brad Friedel.
Despite selling highly-rated Friedel in the summer Ince insists that he still has the best goalkeeper in the league in the American's replacement Paul Robinson.
Robinson, the former England No.1, was signed for £3.5million from Tottenham and Ince believes his man will prove to be worth every penny.
He said in The Sun: "Robbo's the best keeper in the Premier League. It was disappointing to lose Brad. But when I look back at it, it was great business.
"Robbo is only 28 - that's young for a goalkeeper when you look at Brad and David James pushing 40.
"Robbo's been world class. Maybe he took his eye off the prize at Tottenham. He's moved away from the smoke and wanted to start over."
