Ryan Nelsen confesses Blackburn Rovers may need to rethink their 'cavalier' approach to the Premier League.
Paul Ince's side were demolished 4-0 by an Emmanuel Adebayor inspired Arsenal on Saturday at Ewood Park, having also shipped four goals at West Ham in their previous game.
And Nelsen, who was a part of the Blackburn defence run ragged by the Gunners, is well aware that Rovers need to improve at the back.
"The performances have been really good but we're giving away horrendously soft goals," the New Zealand international said in the Daily Mirror. "It's about finding the right balance.
"We're trying to play attractive football going forward and every game is becoming a bit open.
"Cavalier is a good word to describe it. But we've been successful in the past because we've been tight at the back and we want to get back to that."
